Band at MBMA
Our Instrumental Music Program is an excellent place to introduce band instruments to elementary students. In addition to learning in a full-band setting, students will have weekly 30-minute private or semi-private lessons on their instrument. This smaller instructor-to-student ratio will give students more attention and more instrument-specific teaching catered to individual needs.
Band rehearsals will be held in-person and follow the guidance set forth by NAfME based on the Wind Instrument Aerosol studies. Students will be using bell covers and wearing masks designed for instruments.
Private lessons will be in-person or online, depending on the availability of the private lesson teacher.
